Gas Prices On The Rise

You may wake up this morning to a case of sticker shock at the gas pump.

Many stations in La Salle and Peru raised the price of unleaded from $3.39 to $3.59 a gallon.  Ottawa is now among the cheaper places to get gas in the Illinois Valley with most spots selling for $3.42 a gallon according to GasBuddy.com.

The average price at the pump in Illinois is $3.80 a gallon.  The nationwide average is $3.53 a gallon.
