Bumpy weather with heavy rains coming

Some people like severe weather…the crack of lightning, high winds…and the hail. The National Weather Service says you’ll get your wish in the first half of the week. Meterologist Kevin Burke at Romeoville says an area of low pressure mixed with moist air and the heat are a recipe for waves of showers and thunderstorms as early as tonite through Wednesday. Burke says high winds, hail and heavy rainfall are the primary threat. Tornados are not expected, says Burke. The Weather Service has estimated rainfall in the next two days could approach two inches and even more in some areas.
