Posted by wlpo on April 8, 2013

How many of you plan to vote in the election?  Hopefully more than what’s being predicted.

Looking at early and absentee votes, La Salle County Clerk JoAnn Caretto is predicting around a 20 percent voter turnout when polls close tomorrow night.  Voter turnout during the last time there were mayor races in Peru and Spring Valley was 21 percent.

Caretto says Peru has been the busiest so far with absentee voting.
