Time To Shave Heads For Cancer Research

Posted by wlpo on February 8, 2013

150 people have already signed up to have their heads shaved in Ottawa, all in the name of childhood cancer research.

The annual St. Baldrick’s Fundraiser is happening Saturday, March 9th at Jeremiah Joe Coffee in downtown Ottawa.  Among the dozens of people cutting hair to raise money  is the local St. Baldrick’s organizer, Rita Chovan.   Honored child cancer survivors of the 10th annual St. Baldrick’s event are Annabelle Threadgill and Ryan Dillon.
