Big Year For Marriages In La Salle County

Posted by wlpo on January 14, 2013

Thanks in some part to people dying and others getting married, it was a profitable year for the La Salle County Clerk’s Office.

As part of her year end report, Clerk JoAnne Caretto says revenues for her office were up by eight thousand dollars.  Marriage and civil union licenses brought in over 18 thousand dollars last year.  They both cost 30 dollars.

Fees for death certificates brought in over 27 hundred dollars.  Death certificates cost 21 dollars.
