Sign up underway for Peru BB gun club

Hitting a target might look easy but it takes skill and practice. Children in Peru will be able to learn shooting skills and gun safety at the Peru BB Gun Club.
The new club will be overseen by the Peru Police Department and volunteers who remember when their children were in BB gun clubs. Greg Vaccaro is one of the volunteers. He says they’ll be focusing on gun safety.
He also says it will be competitive with awards for sharpshooter, marksman and the top boy and girl shooters.
The club will meet in the basement of Peru City Hall. It’s open to kids from Peru ages 10 to 14. It’s free but space is limited. You can sign up your children at the Peru City Hall. All kids must have a signed permission slip.
If you would like to support the club, they’re also accepting donations.
