A man who played in six Super Bowls is opening a new business in La Salle.
Grand opening of Don Beebe’s House of Speed is this evening on Gunia Drive on the north end of La Salle. Beebe played in the NFL for nine years, went to six Super Bowls, winning one with the Green Bay Packers. He was known for his speed and now teaches speed to athletes of all ages. Beebe started the House of Speed in 1998 and says he wants to reach athletes outside of Chicago and the suburbs.
The grand opening starts at 5:30 with a demo training from Beebe followed by a question and answer session and a book signing. There’s no cost to attend.
