Posted by wlpo on December 29, 2012

It only took a second for an accident to happen outside a restaurant in Peru.  Firefighters and an ambulance raced to Applebee’s in Peru Friday night after police say a woman became pinned under a car door.

Police say the woman’s husband had backed out of a parking spot and had stopped to let his wife get in the car when his foot apparently slipped off of the brake.

The woman was taken to an area hospital.  Her condition was unavailable.
