Election night coverage underway on AM 1220 WLPO

AM 1220 WLPO is bringing you coverage of the results of races in La Salle, Bureau and Putnam Counties along with national races.

Republican Adam Kinzinger will be serve another term as the congressman from the 16th District.  He easily beat his challenger Wonda Rohl, a democrat.

You won’t see an extra sales tax for school construction.  The referendum in La Salle County failed.

You’ve seen a lot of signs and heard a lot of ads for the La Salle County Circuit Clerk races.  With 110 of 119 precincts counted, Democrat Andy Skoog was leading Republican Bob Vickery with 58% of the vote.

Republican Troy Holland will be the next 13th Judicial Circuit Court Judge.  He defeated Democrat Anita Kopko.
