Ottawa High School Board And Teachers Negotiating

After a contentious strike in 2009, it’s time to negotiate a new contract for Ottawa High School teachers.
The Ottawa High School Board is meeting in closed session next Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning to discuss negotiations. No action is expected.
Three years ago today, teachers were in their 3rd week of a strike at Ottawa High because of salary and insurance. Sixteen classroom days were lost during the walkout.
