about the rain

Posted by wlpo on October 14, 2012

It’s a start…but the area needs a lot more rain to make up the moisture deficit that developed this summer. Adding Saturday’s .44 to the .54 that fell early Sunday…gives us about an inch of rain so far. More rain is expected on Wednesday. If you’re traveling East this afternoon, beware the I-57 corridor south of the Kankakee River is in line for super cell thunderstorms. Our area will not be affected.
