New terminal to open at Marquis Energy in Hennepin

Posted by wlpo on May 21, 2012

An ethanol plant in Hennepin is growing its operations.  Marquis Energy plans to use a new terminal near Hennepin to move more than 250,000 barrels of crude oil from the Bakken Shale Reserve.  That’s scheduled for June 1.

Construction has started on a tank storage terminal and barge loading center at a plant in Missouri.  It will be used to bring crude oil from Canada and North Dakota to oil refineries on the U.S. Gulf Coast.
