Posted by wlpo on April 21, 2012

Resurfacing has begun in Peru where a list of streets is to be worked on this construction season.  And there will be no mistaking what’s behind the work- The City of Peru.

Signs saying that the work was made possible by the City of Peru have been posted at some of the work sites.  They are similar to ones that were posted for state road work paid for the American Reinvestment Act.  They go on to say, “Building and maintaining our infrastructure, ordinance #4831.

Len Trovero Construction is doing the work for $1.9 million.  It’s being paid for with a loan that’s being paid back with sales tax money.
