Local Counties Reimbursed For Oversized Ballots
Posted by wlpo on April 13, 2012
Bureau and Putnam Counties are getting reimbursed for election night troubles of having to trim ballots to fit into counting machines.
Bureau, Putnam and over 20 other counties had too wide of ballots during the Primary Election. In Bureau and Putnam County, election judges spent time trimming the ballots to make them fit.
Liberty Systems is the election materials provider for both companies. They’ve given Bureau County a credit of 36 hundred dollars and 12 hundred dollars for Putnam County.
