Livingston County fatality – no ID yet

Posted by wlpo on February 26, 2012

After her car crashed into a tree and stopped in a creek, the woman driver apparently walked a mile before collapsing and dying. That’s what the Livingston County Sheriff’s office believes after called to the scene on 100 East Road about 8:30am yesterday (Saturday). Search and rescue teams – some from as far as Naplate – went looking the woman and found her body a mile south of the accident. Her Pontiac car, says the Sheriff’s office, was likely southbound on 100 East Road, crashed through a barricade for a closed bridge, struck a tree and came to rest in a creek. Livingston County Sheriff and Coroner continue to investigate. The Coroner has not releases the identity of the woman.
