Peru Blockbuster store closing

You’ll soon have one less place to rent movies in the Illinois Valley.
Blockbuster Video on Midtown Road in Peru is one of 180 Blockbuster stores set to close in the near future. An employee at the store couldn’t say anything more. One listener says the Peru store is no longer renting movies or games, just selling them.
A Blockbuster in Ottawa closed in November of 2009. That building remains empty.
