Man accused of trying to hit officers with his cane

A month and a half after being accused of struggling with the police in Oglesby, a man from Jonesville has been arrested.

Police say 40 year old John Gordon of Jonesville put up a fight when they tried stopping him on Elm Street on October 28.  He’s accused of trying to hit the officers with his hands and cane.  He was taken to an area hospital and wasn’t ticketed until Friday.  He faces charges of resisting, obstructing, aggravated assault, and pedestrian under the interest.
