Three arrested after burglary and search in McNabb

Posted by wlpo on October 15, 2011

You can run but you can’t hide for long, especially if it’s a damp field you’re hiding in.  Three men faces burglary charges after a break-in, traffic stop, and manhunt in Putnam County.

It began before sunrise Saturday morning when police stopped Cody Donnelly of Tonica on the McNabb Blacktop.  With him where Christopher O’Shana and Nicholas Rick of Oglesby.  Police began to suspect that they had broken into a business in McNabb.  While Donnelly and Rick were arrested, police say O’Shana ran into a field and wouldn’t be found until after 10am.

Donnelly and Rick face two counts of burglary because police think they broke into another business the day before.  O’Shana was arrested for burglary and obstruction of justice.  They’ve been separated with one each staying the Putnam, Bureau and La Salle County Jails.  Their bond hearings will be Sunday.
