LP Band first place

When police and fire personnel greet students, it’s usually with good cause. About 9:30pm Saturday, LaSalle and Peru police and the Peru Fire Department greeted LaSalle-Peru marching band students returning from the Danville Vikings Band competition. LP performed their half-time show and won first place at the 2A level. The Drumline also took first place. In an overall ranking between 2A and 3A participants, L-P placed third. Kyle Adelman is LP’s band director. He says he’s prepping his students for meets at Metamora and Frankfort in October.
