Tickets Available For Adkins And Church

A small school in Bureau County is hoping for a big crowd tonight at the Illinois Valley Regional Airport in Peru.

Van Orin School is the beneficiary of tonight’s Lou’s La Grotto “Concert for a Cause” featuring country crooners Eric Church and Trace Adkins.  Tickets are on sale in advance at Lou’s and Wyanet Carpet for 42 dollars.  They will cost 50 dollars at the gate today which opens at 4.

Opening act Logan Mize will start things off by taking the at 5.  Church should start performing around 7:30 with Adkins unleashing his deep voice around 9.

Trace Adkins and Eric Church are being brought to you by 96-5 the Wolf, Lou’s La Grotto and Euclid Beverage.

Area School Board Becomes Whole

The Waltham Elementary School Board now has a full compliment of members.

The board this week appointed Sue Jereb to fill a vacancy on the board.  The school board had been a member short since the April election because only two people ran for election despite three seats being open.

Jereb is the wife of Utica Village Trustee Matt Jereb.
