Drug conviction lands La Salle woman a year and a half in prison

Posted by wlpo on May 13, 2011

An overdose call has ended up sending a woman from La Salle to prison.

Randi McFadin was sentenced to 18 months in prison Thursday for unlawful possession of a controlled substance.  La Salle Police went to McFadin’s house in January and found her unconscious and with under 15 grams of heroin.

One out of prison, she’ll be on mandatory supervised release which is a form of probation.  She gets 89 days knocked off her prison sentence for time she’s already spent in the county jail.

McFadin has previous convictions for DUI, aggravated battery and driving with a suspended license.
