Taste of Town to raise money for March of Dimes

Posted by wlpo on February 28, 2011

If you enjoy the March of Dimes’ Signature Chef Auction, you’ll probably be a fan of their more casual fundraiser, Taste of Town.

The dinner features food selections from restaurants in Streator and silent and live auctions.

Lori Christopherson is with the March of Dimes.  The Taste of Town, she explains, is something you can wear jeans to.

The dinner is also the kickoff to their March for Babies event in May.

The dinner is March 23 from 5:30pm until 9pm at the Streator Knights of Columbus Hall.  Tickets to the Taste of Town have sold out in past years.  They’re available at Onized Credit Union.  General admission is $20 or two for $30.  VIP tickets are $50 each.
