10 students to compete for Mr. LP title

The only pageant that includes the categories superfan and beach wear returns to Matthiessen Auditorium Saturday night. The Third Annual Mr. LP has 10 boys competing while at the same time raising money for the Illinois Valley Food Pantry and Special Olympics.
Other categories include talent, formal wear, and charity fund-raising.
It’s sponsored by the LP Student Council. It’s $3 to get in. Doors open at 6:20pm with the contest starting at 7pm.
