Martin Luther King Jr. remembered today

ATLANTA (AP) – The eldest son of the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. is expected to address a crowd of hundreds in Atlanta today to mark the 25th anniversary of the federal holiday named for his father. Martin Luther King III will deliver a speech at Ebenezer Baptist Church, where his father preached until his death. King would have been 82 on Jan. 15.

Winter Weather Advisory affecting Bureau and Putnam

Snow and possible sleet means a winter weather advisory for part of the state, including Bureau and Putnam Counties.

The National Weather Service says light snow could gradually change to patchy freezing drizzle this evening.  The weather advisory is in place until 9pm.
