La Salle Teens Arrested For Bureau County Burglaries

Posted by wlpo on November 14, 2010

Two La Salle teenagers stand accused of nearly two dozen burglaries in Bureau County.

Jacob Maske and Wesley Crain were arrested Thursday in response to upwards of 20 residential and vehicle burglaries happening between October 30th and November 7th in Ladd and Cherry.  Investigators got a break in the case when Maske and Crain are accused of using a stolen credit after five different spots in Peru and Streator on November 7th.  They say surveillance video during the spending spree led them to Maske and Crain.  During a search of their home in La Salle, investigators say they found numerous pieces of evidence from the burglaries.

Maske’s bond was set at 25 thousand dollars, Crain’s bond at 10 thousand dollars.  More arrests are possible.
