Happy Holidays!  You’re Ameren natural gas and electric bills are going up.

The Illinois Commerce Commission Friday approved a $43.7 million dollar revenue plan for Ameren, about one-third of the company’s final request of $130 million.  The original revenue ruling was much smaller so Ameren appealed.

Ameren customers should see an increase of about 1 percent on natural gas bills and 1 percent or less on electric bills.  The new increases will be seen later this month.
