Quinn and Brady campaigning on Sunday

Posted by wlpo on October 24, 2010

CHICAGO (AP) – Gov. Pat Quinn and Republican challenger Bill Brady spent the morning speaking to black voters at a large Chicago church.   Brady was to speak first at Salem Baptist Church, followed by Quinn.   Salem Baptist, on the city’s South Side, is led by the Rev. James Meeks. He’s a Democratic state senator and is mulling a run for Chicago mayor.      His House of Hope worship center can hold about 10,000 people.   Quinn and Brady are looking for every vote they can muster as the clock winds down in their race for Illinois governor.
