It’s time to join in the Pow Wow again in La Salle County.
The 1st Annual Grand Bear Pow Wow happens from 10 until 5 today and tomorrow at Grand Bear Lodge. The Pow Wow includes an arts and craft show and indigenous cultural concert.
Admission to the Pow Wow is six dollars for adults and four dollars for children. The event is sponsored by the Midwest SOARRING Foundation along with Grand Bear Lodge.

30 or so local dancers are looking to help break a world record tonight in Peru.
The group has been practicing for a few weeks in preparation for the “Thrill the World” dance event tonight at 6 in Centennial Park. The dancers will perform Michael Jackson’s hit video to “Thriller” simultaneously with dancers across the world.
Dancers are also raising money for IVCH.
