Felony cannabis charge leaves California man in La Salle County Jail

A man from sunny San Diego now has to get used to the walls of the La Salle County Jail.

William Day was indicted this week for possession of cannabis with intent to deliver.  Day was arrested by state police after being pulled over on Interstate 80 near Ottawa.  Troopers say Day had in nearly five pounds of marijuana in his trunk.

He’s being held on $100,000 bond.
