Teen Arrested For Stabbing In La Salle

A 16 year old boy from Peru is accused of stabbing a fellow teen multiple times over the weekend.

The 16 year old was arrested Saturday morning by La Salle Police and charged with aggravated battery.  He’s accused of stabbing a 19 year old man multiple times Friday in the 300 block of Wright Street.  The victim was taken to Illinois Valley Community Hospital.

The alleged stabber was taken to the county detention home.  He was already on juvenile parole for an unrelated charge.
