The students at Illinois Valley Community College are spending more time in the classroom than they have in past years.
After a couple of weeks into the fall semester, college president Jerry Corcoran says overall headcount is about even with one year ago at the same time. The number of credit hours being taken is about 2% higher than last year, the highest in IVCC history.
