Wounded Warriors in Marseilles Sunday
Posted by wlpo on August 29, 2010
Hundreds of motorcycles will roar into Marseilles Sunday afternoon. The Florida-based organization called Wounded Warriors Project will have its 2nd Annual Wounded Warrior Motorcycle Run featuring 700 riders. The run this year leaves from New Lenox at noon and arrives at the Middle East Conflict Memorial Wall in Marseilles at one. There will be a ceremony at the wall that’ll include speakers and a 21-gun salute. The bikers will then head back to New Lenox for food and entertainment. Proceeds from the run to Marseilles are benefiting the Wounded Warriors Project which helps wounded vets get reacclimated to civilian society.
