Peru police

Posted by wlpo on August 29, 2010

A call to the 900 block of Rock Street in Peru Saturday morning becomes more than a report of suspicious persons. 18-year old Andrew Freeman of Peru and three male juveniles were arrested for criminal trespass and criminal damage to property shortly after 1am. Freeman and two of the juveniles were charged with unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor. Peru police believe Freeman and the three teens entered a residence uninvited and damaged both its exterior and interior. While at the station, one of the juveniles resisted a police officer and struck a squad car several times damaging it. He was cited with resisting an officer and damage to state supported property. Freeman was released on a notice to appear. The juveniles were referred to juvenile probation and released to their parents.
