Midland Advisory Committee

A decision impacting the future look of the Midland School District could come later this week. The Midland School District advisory committee is expected to vote Thursday on whether to recommend the existing grade school in Lacon be extensively repaired, or be replaced by a new building in Lacon, or be eliminated all together with an addition built onto the school in Sparland. One of the main issues with the existing school is its water system.
