Church makes new home in La Salle

A church congregation that met for eight years in Oglesby is settling in to their new site in La Salle.  The Abundant Life Fellowship has been holding services in the former Resurrection Catholic Church for the past month.

Lloyd Curry is the pastor.  His wife Martha says they looked and prayed for a permanent location for 12 years before buying the building at Hennepin Street and Route 6 in La Salle.

They have approximately 50 members but she say the new location has helped them attract visitors.

They’re planning a dedication service for Sunday, August 22 3pm.  It will be open to everyone.  Their Sunday service is at 10:30am.
