It’s prison time for a man from Earlville who admits to growing marijuana.

Gregorio Cano was sentenced to three years in prison Thursday for unlawful possession of marijuana with the intent to deliver.

Cano was arrested by TRIDENT investigators last September for having 199 marijuana plants growing in various stages on his property.  Investigators say Cano attempted to make it seem the plants were growing wild.

The search also allegedly turned up guns but Cano only is charged with drugs.
