Garage Fire Knocks Out Power In Spring Valley

For the second time this week, Spring Valley firefighters were fighting a fire late into the night.

Just after nine last night, firefighters responded to a garage fire at the home of Marcus Comstock at 408 West Erie Street.  The garage was completely destroyed.  The fire spread and damaged a neighbor’s garage and a power pole.  No one was injured.

The fire caused a power outage and loss of t-v and telephone service.  The cause is under investigation.
