Posted by wlpo on April 24, 2010

Enrollment at Illinois Valley Community College’s Ottawa Center has been excellent, that’s according to College President Jerry Corcoran.

Corcoran told the IVCC Board of Trustees this week that after less than three weeks of enrollment time, 151 students have registered to take courses in Ottawa.  In other words, that’s about 25 percent of all available seats.  Registration at the Ottawa Center is open Monday thru Wednesday at the Ottawa City Hall.  Classes in Ottawa will start in the Fall.

If you sign up for classes in Ottawa, you can have your books mailed to you at no charge instead of having to make the drive to Oglesby.
