With a building secured and registration now started, it’s time for a logo for Illinois Valley Community College’s building in Ottawa.

During Tuesday night’s Ottawa City Council meeting, IVCC President Jerry Corcoran unveiled the logo for the Ottawa Center.  The logo is similar to the main IVCC logo except for a leaf instead of a flame.  The shield on the logo is also draped with a vine.

Corcoran says he wanted the logo to be in line with the botanical branding image Ottawa is pushing.

Corcoran says around 10% of possible seats at the Ottawa Center have been filled already.  Registration continues the rest of this week at Ottawa City Hall.
