Bureau County United Way comes up short of their goal

Posted by wlpo on March 19, 2010

The Bureau County United Way came up short on their fundraising goal. Their goal was 127 thousand dollars, they were able to collect 103 thousand of it. This is the second year in a row they haven’t met their goal. The Bureau County United Way is partnered with fifteen nonprofit organizations including the Bureau County Red Cross, the Salvation Army and the Bureau County Food Pantry. Numbers are down, but they’re already planning more fundraisers. One of them is a golf scramble this July.
