Peru’s informal Wednesday night meetings are now formal

The Peru City Council has been meeting every-other Wednesday night for years, but those have always been informal, until tonight. Starting tonight Wednesday night meetings will be formal, meaning they can take action just like during the regular council meetings on Monday’s.
The council could vote to hire Chamlin and Associates for the 2010 Street Program and King Engineering for the curb program. A management agreement for the Illinois Valley Regional Airport could also be approved.
The council meets at 7:30.
