Heroin Bust In La Salle

Posted by wlpo on January 11, 2010

Area drug investigators hope they’ve put a dent in the La Salle-Peru drug market.

After hearing that Ryan Keenan of Granville and Michael Coble of Chicago were allegedly selling heroin from their car, they were pulled over Friday by a La Salle Police officer.  An investigation by La Salle PD and TRIDENT then allegedly turned up 39 bags of heroin in the hands of Keenan and Coble.

Both men were charged with unlawful possession of controlled substance and taken to the county jail.
