Posted by wlpo on December 17, 2009

Something was cooking at a home in Ottawa and it wasn’t dinner.  A kitchen fire at a home on Guion Street caught the attention of someone passing by late Wednesday morning.

The fire department was called and about 30 minutes later the fire was under control.

Jeff Newbury with the Ottawa Fire Department says the worst of the damage was limited to the kitchen thought there’s smoke damage throughout.

They think the cause may have been electrical.
