LPHS increasing tax rate

Posted by wlpo on December 16, 2009

You’ll be paying slightly more to LP High School through your property taxes next year.  The district’s raising their tax levy, asking for about $600,000 more than last year.  The tax rate will increase by .0141%.  They’re predicting a $29 million growth in EAV.
Superintendent Craig Carter says even with the increase, LP still has one of the lowest school tax rates in La Salle County.
