Marilyn Wig filed a suit this week in La Salle County Circuit Court seeking at least 100 thousand dollars from the La Salle County Nursing Home.

As a guardian of a woman staying at the nursing home, Wig blames the home for allowing a man at the home to sexually abuse the woman she represents. The alleged abuse happened between January and May of this year.

Another lawsuit filed on behalf of a woman staying at the nursing home who was allegedly sexually abused was filed last month.  State and federal officials are also looking to fine the county for not taking action to prevent the abuse.
