Peru Council talks about nuisance property
Posted by wlpo on September 14, 2009
City officials in Peru could go ahead with plans to condemn a home on 7th Street. No one has been living in the house since the middle of the summer, when officials forced people out of the home. It’s considered unsafe because it has no septic systems and is not connected to the city sewer.
The council could also agree to put in stop signs at Chambers and 14th Streets and at 10th and Walnut Streets.
The council meets at 7:30pm Monday.
