Pedestrian killed on route 6 identified

LaSalle County coroner Jody Bernard identified the man killed on route 6 west of Ottawa Friday night as Adan Castillo age 63 of LaSalle. Sheriff’s deputies responded to a car-pedistrian accident Friday night about 10pm on route 6 , 1/2 mile east of E14th road ,west of Ottawa. An eastbound vehicle struck Castillo who was in the eastbound lane of traffic at the time. The incident is been investigated by the sheriff’s offce and the coroner’s office.
