Man accused of having crack cocaine

Posted by wlpo on June 13, 2009

A man police think was selling crack-cocaine has been arrested after two departments worked together.
Narcotics detectives in Marseilles contacted Ottawa investigators after an undercover investigation into 37 year old Robert Sims.
Ottawa police arrested Sims Thursday night on a warrant after finding him at a tavern. They say he had 36 baggies of crack-cocaine when they found him.
He’s charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. He’s being held in the La Salle County Jail.
