Motorcyclist Recovering After Crash In Utica

A biker from the burbs is improving at the hospital.
Demitrios Vranas of Orland Park is in fair condition at St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. He was flown there after an accident Saturday afternoon in Utica.
State Police say that Vranas was leaving a private drive onto Route 71 west of Route 178 when he lost control on some gravel. Vranas and his Harley both skidded on the pavement.
Vranas suffered head injuries.
