Posted by wlpo on May 18, 2009

Working on Sunday has become common for a lot of jobs, but usually not state senators.

The Illinois State Senate met for about 20 minutes Sunday evening, but didn’t vote on any bills.

The senators who attended will each receive a $132 per diem. Two weeks remain in the scheduled legislative session.
